NEW MATERIAL: Anti-Snoring Device “Panthera”

Did you know that in 50% of all bedrooms restorative sleep is disturbed due to extremely loud snoring? With increasing age, more than half of the population suffers from snoring problems.

One of the best solutions is a PANTHERA DENTAL ANTI-SNORING DEVICE.  This intraoral snoring therapy device creates a whole new interdisciplinary work field for dentists.  The mandibular advancing device keeps the pharynx open at night and tones the muscles. The respiratory passages remain open preventing snoring and apnea.  Reports about this subject have existed since 1984.

The device supports the lower jaw in a forward position during sleep. The advancement of the lower jaw clears the back of the tongue and facilitates opening of the upper airways, which increases airflow.  The computer-aided design, custom retainers and features of the device have a proven efficiency which offers increased comfort.  The resistance of the material provides long-term use with few, if any, side effects.

Capturing the Protrusive Bite with the George Gauge

Allows the clinician to capture the protrusive bite registration and vertical opening without relying on the patient to achieve proper positioning.  Eliminates guesswork!  Extremely accurate and easy to use.

To Change Rods

To place the rods in their anchors, or to remove them, flip over the upper retainer (180 degrees). This positions the retaining rod so it can detach from the rod anchor. Once positioned, push the retaining rod through the hole and detach. To increase the advancement of the lower jaw, insert a shorter rod, i.e. one indicating a smaller number (example, change rods number 29 for rods number 30).

Maintenance and Storage

Along with your device you will receive a storage case, a carrying pouch, a soaking bath and a pouch of NovaDent cleansing solution. When traveling, place the device in the storage case. Keep it away from children. Submerge the device in the NovaDent cleansing solution after each use.  NovaDent pouches are available in most drugstores.  You can also clean the device using a toothbrush and toothpaste. Prior to reinsertion, rinse the device thoroughly with warm water to remove any traces of the NovaDent cleansing solution.

  1. Snore Guards – Snore Guards are part of mandibular anterior repositioning appliances.  Snore Guards direct the mandible to a specific anterior position to a fully seated joint position.  Snore Guards allow some movement in a protrusive or lateral direction from the directed position.  In addition, Snore Guards commonly cover both the maxillary and mandibular arches, but not all the time.
